While Melissa finished her makeup, Douglas arrived with his groomsmen. He was a little bit nervous, but his friends helped him feel better. One of our favorite moments was when Melissa’s parents helped her with her veil. It was a very sweet moment. Her bridesmaids even used their phones to record the memory! Later, the clouds came out and made the light softer. We walked down to the boardwalk behind the hotel for more filming. The blue water and the tall city buildings made a great background. The couple looked like they were on a postcard! We even did a fun bouquet toss in front of the Louis Vuitton Island Maison. We also managed to get a very special shot. We found a moment when the ballroom was empty and quiet. We filmed Douglas and Melissa alone in the big room.
