Wedding Videography in Singapore | Alvin & Shirlin
When people look for wedding videography in Singapore, they want more than just a video. They want a way to relive the laughs, the “pain” of the games, and the sweet tears of joy. I had the amazing chance to witness Alvin and Shirlin’s big day, and let me tell you, it was a wild ride from start to finish! My camera captured every second of their high-energy celebration, and I’m so excited to share their story with you.
The Wildest Gatecrash for Wedding Videography Singapore
Building Brand Awareness Through Visual Storytelling
The morning started very early at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel. Alvin was there with his band of groomsmen, looking nervous but ready for battle. They knew the “sisters” wouldn’t make it easy for them to reach Shirlin. As a professional providing wedding videography in Singapore, I’ve seen many gatecrashes, but this one was truly intense!
First, the guys had to drink pure, sour lemon juice out of a baby’s sippy cup. I could see the groomsmen’s faces twisting in shock! It was hilarious to film, but I felt a little bad for their taste buds. After that, the sisters moved on to the “Post-it Challenge.” Alvin and his friends had to dance like crazy to shake off sticky notes. There was a lot of “cheating” and funny wiggling involved, but they eventually passed the test.
However, the final game was the most painful to watch. The bridesmaids put clips on the guys’ ears, noses, and lips. If they got a question wrong, snap! The clips were pulled off. I caught some priceless expressions of pure agony on my lens. It was definitely more intense than any waxing session I’ve ever seen!
Golden Hour Magic at Changi Boardwalk
After the tea ceremonies, we headed out for some fresh air. Even though the Singapore sun was blazing, the couple and their huge wedding party were full of energy. We went to the beautiful Changi Boardwalk for an outdoor shoot.
The laughter never stopped. In addition to the fun poses, there were many quiet, tender moments between Alvin and Shirlin. I loved filming how Alvin looked at her—it was like no one else existed in the world. These are the moments that make wedding videography in Singapore so rewarding. A Sincere Promise at Grand Copthorne Waterfront
As evening fell, we returned to the hotel for the solemnization. The vibe shifted from loud fun to deep sincerity. One detail I loved was their ring holder. It was so cute and unique that it became a star in their wedding video!
Even though they used the standard ROM vows, you could feel the weight of every word. Alvin and Shirlin weren’t just reading; they were making a promise from the bottom of their hearts. As I stood there filming, I felt a lump in my throat. Their love felt so real and grounded.
